By default, there is no passcode at all in Apple iPhones. The behavior of your iPhone depends on the configuration.
However, the company notes the following regarding forgetting passcodes. If you enter the wrong passcode again and again, then your iPhone will be disabled for an extended interval before you can still try. So after many unsuccessful attempts, you won’t be able to work again until unless you connect your computer with your phone.

Upon forgetting the passcode
In case you don’t remember the passcode, you will have to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it, or it can also be loud. By this, you can reset your passcode and reach the data from the device. You can even restore it using a different computer that was never synced with the device. But then again, your data will be missing, although you can unlock the device for use and remove the passcode.
So before restoring, make sure that you have backed up the content of your iPhone else it will go missing.
If you have previously synced your iPhone with iTunes on a Mac or Windows computer, you can back up recent additions to your iPhone. You have to connect it to the same machine you have used without entering the passcode. after creating the backup, you need to restore your iPhone and have the backup copied onto the iPhone with iTunes.
To restore your iPhone with iTunes
You need to do the following to fix the Forgot iPhone Passcode issue using iTunes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer that you have previously used to sync the device.
Go to iTunes and select the iPhone in the list of devices then click on the summary.
If iTunes doesn’t sync your iPhone, then do it manually.
Click on the option’ check for update’. If you have a newer version of the iPhone software available, it will be prompted.
Click on restore.
The instructions will be shown on the screen follow them to complete the restore process. While restoring, you should back up the iPhone whenever prompted.
The setup assistant will ask you to set up your iPhone.
Now click on restore from iTunes backup.
Choose your device in iTunes and choose the recent backup of your iPhone.

To restore your iPhone with iCloud
In some cases, you can have your iPhone previously backed up with iCloud. In such a case, you can use the simple iCloud process to erase an iPhone. This option is mostly used for a stolen or lost iPhone.
Hence do the following
1. Sign in to your iCloud with your Apple ID, and then go on, find my iPhone.
2. Click on all devices then select the iPhone you want to erase.
3. From the info, window clicks on erase iPhone.
4. Enter your Apple ID passcode. If your device has iOS 7 or later, then you need to enter a phone number and message.
5. Now you can restore the information on your device using the backup of iCloud. But make sure you can do this only if the backup was turned on before you were locked out.
No backup created
Now the most severe case that can occur is if your iPhone has never been synchronized or backed up. In this case, the only option to restore your iPhone is to create Your iPhone as new, and it will delete all your personal information.
Don’t Panic; just take a deep breath. Separating yourself from frustration may help you, so go and take a walk. This may help you remember your passcode, but if you still do not remember your passcode when you return, then try sitting or standing somewhere, you might have entered your passcode before this may help you remember it. If none of this works, then you have to start over as if you just bought a new iPhone. If your iPhone is not Older than a few days, then this won’t be a problem for you.
